University Receives A Four Year $760,000 Grant From The U.S. Department Of Education

Announcement that the University has received a four-year $760,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education for the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. The McNair Program supports science and mathematics. 15 awards will support University students while 10 will go to undergraduates at other SUNY and Capital Region institutions who will remain at their institutions while participating in UAlbany programming. The awards are for juniors and seniors seriously considering Ph.D. or M.D. study and are for low-income, first generation college students and high achieving students of color underrepresented in doctoral degree programs.
