School Of Education Receives A $4.5 Million Three Year Grant Extension From The New York State Department Of Transportation

School of Education receives a $4.5 million three year grant extension from the New York State Department of Transportation for its Youth Construction Initiative Program (YCIP) designed to assist high school students who plan to work in the construction industry right after graduation. The program is lead by Provost Judith Genshaft and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs Carson Carr. Carr is the YCIP statewide coordinator. Cooperating high schools are Edison Technical High of Rochester, Corcoran High of Syracuse, Lafayette High, Poughkeepsie High, Newburgh High, Abrookin Technical High of Albany, Proctor High of Utica, and Troy High School.
