Position Of Chief Information Officer Created

Position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) created. Christine E. Haile was appointed interim (and subsequently permanent CIO). The CIO reports directly to the chief operating officer, Carlos E. Santiago, who holds the position of provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. The CIO is responsible for all information technology in Academic Computing, University Business Systems, Data and Telecommunications, Extended Learning, and ResNet.
