Initiatives For Women Created A New Honoring Our Mothers Fund

Announcement that the Initiatives for Women (IFW) has created a new Honoring Our Mothers Fund. The fund was established to provide support for women balancing motherhood with the pursuit of educational and/or professional goals. The first recipient of the award from the fund is Mia Gallo, a single mother of four and doctoral student in Anthropology. Gallo received her award at the IFW Summer Celebration on July 11.
