State Farm Provided Grant Of $75,000 To The Career Development Center

Announcement that State Farm gave a grant of $75,000 to the Career Development Center for a year-long series of career planning workshops and programs. The programs will be open to all students from first years to seniors. Courses for first and second year students will include overviews of professionals and educational requirements while courses for those closer to graduation will focus on how to prepare for job interviews and how to prepare resumes. There also will be programs on financial planning, budgeting and employment responsibilities. Special programs will be created for Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) students to acquaint them with employment opportunities with major U.S. corporations.
