U.S. Representative John Sweeney Predicted Albany Nano Tech Will Receive A $5 Million Federal Appropriation To Develop Technologies For U.S. Navy Ships To Run On Electric Power

U.S. Representative John Sweeney predicted Albany NanoTech will receive a $5 million federal appropriation to develop technologies for U.S. Navy ships to run on electric power to run quietly and cleanly. The bill has already been voted out of the House Appropriations Committee. UAlbany will partner with MTech, a Balston Spa firm located at Malta's Saratoga Technology Park (STEP) where the University is a partner.
