Announcement that UAlbany has been awarded $849,057 by the National Insititute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) to research interventions that will prevent alcohol abuse in college students. The lead researchers on the project are M. Dolores Cimini, Ph.D. licensed psychologist and director, MIddle Earth, and Matthew P. Martens, Ph.D., assistant professor of educational counseling and psychology, School of Education. The project will be run from the Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program.
