President Kermit L. Hall Announces The Formation Of The University Wide Interdisciplinary Honors College

President Kermit L. Hall announces the formation of the university-wide interdisciplinary Honors College. The program will open in the fall of 2006. Honors college students will be taught by "distinguished faculty" and receive "the most rigorous and demanding comprehensive education we can offer" according to Hall. The program will consist of small classes with mentorship, greater faculty involvement, and "more one on one teaching and learning."
