New York State Office Of Science, Technology, And Academic Research Present A Grant Of $1.14 Million To Cnse's Center For Advanced Technology In Nanomaterials And Nanoelectronics

Russell W. Bessette, executive director of the New York State Office of Science, Technology, and Academic Research (NYSTAR) present a grant of $1.14 million to the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering's (CNSE) Center for Advanced Technology in Nanomaterials and Nanoelectronics (CATN2) to establish the Consortium for Hyper-Integration and Packaging (CHIP) at Albany NanoTech. CNSE was given a further $750,000 Faculty Development Program grant to recruit Patrick Naulleau from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in California. Naulleau's research will focus on developing "ultra high-resolution extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography...."
