Announcement of grant of $350,000 from New York State Department of Education to the University at Albany's Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) and the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) to "bring ethnically underrepresented students into the study of science and technology." The STEP program assists students in middle and high schools, while the CSTEP program assists students to gain a college degree in math and science.
