University Developing A First Of Its Kind Program In Forensic Accounting

Announcement that the University's Department of Accounting and Law (School of Business) is developing a first of its kind program in forensic accounting to begin offering classes during the 2007-2008 academic year. Courses will include forensic analytics, digital forensics, corporate fraud, corporate governance, and the legal aspects of the new discipline. Partners in this interdisciplinary program are the Department of Information Technology and Management, the College of Computing and Information, the New York State Center for Information Forensics and Assurance (CIFA), and the Northeast Regional Forensics Institute (NERFI).
