Journalism Program Received $25,000 Grant From The Ethics And Excellence In Journalism Foundation To Bring Distinguished Science Speakers To The University

Announcement that the new journalism program has received a $25,000 grant from the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation to bring distinguished science speakers to the University. They will participate in seminars, lectures, and public events, which are being scheduled as part of the launch of the new undergraduate journalism major. The first speaker in the series, named "Scientists & Journalists: Dialogues for the 21st Century," was Richard Harris, NPR science correspondent, who spoke February 8 on the topic, "Nanotech: What Is IT Anyway?"
