Educational Opportunity Program Students Defend Their Academic Accomplishments

After an article is published in a previous week's Albany Student Press falsely criticizing EOP students for 'not having a single graduate out of nearly 700 that began the program', former EOP matriculate and PhD student Lynn Gilmore corrects the record, pointing out that not only had several of the 161 members of the EOP inaugural class indeed graduated - including some who had done so in less than the standard 4 years - there were several among these who, like Mrs. Gilmore, would continue their academic careers on in higher education.
