Suffrage Club Formed

1917 March

Suffrage Club formed with the permission of New York State College for Teachers President Dr. Abram Brubacher who encouraged women students to become interested in the right to vote question. The only restriction placed on the members by the president, which was met with approval, was that there be no "'soap-box' demonstrations by any State College women."
