Downtown Campus Library dedicated to former Governor Thomas E. Dewey

The library on the downtown campus in Hawley Hall was dedicated to former New York State Governor Thomas E. Dewey and named the "Governor Thomas E. Dewey Graduate Library for Public Affairs and Policy" in a ceremony on September 8th, 1988. The library had previously shifted its focus in 1983 to primarily support the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy.
