Dramatic & Art Association Established

1918 Fall

Dramatic & Art Association established by Agnes Futterer and Eunice Perine for the purpose of promoting interest in Dramatics and Fine Arts. The new group would offer two plays a year by the Dramatics Class, sponsor prominent lecturers, and a spring trip to New York City theatres and museums. The sources slightly contradict each other with the Pedagogue stating the Association was founded in 1919 and the May 17, 1919 State College News noting the Association had been around for "some time" including the previous semester (Fall 1918).
