Harriet E. Twoguns Graduates

Harriet E. Twoguns of the Cattaraugus Reservation graduates, the first Native American student to do so. Twoguns taught African-American children in the south for twenty years after graduation. Harriet Twoguns’ descendent, Lee Leroy, received a Distinguished Alumni Award in her honor in 1971.
