Center For Disaster Management (School Of Business) Established

The Center for Disaster Management (School of Business) was established to facilitate the application of information science technology to decision making required for responding with maximum efficiency to disaster situations such those involving earthquakes, nuclear accidents, droughts, and the transportation and storage of hazardous wastes. More generally, the Center was founded to be concerned with the study of management information issues and principles, particularly as they relate to ad hoc emergency decision making or strategic planning.
