Varsity Women's Lacrosse Team Fielded For The First Time As An Intercollegiate Sport

1992 Spring

Varsity women's lacrosse team fielded for the first time as an intercollegiate sport. For the past four years women's lacrosse has been played as a club sport. The women's team is coached by new hire Judy Finerghty, formerly assistant coach at Bates College. During its last year of play as a club sport the women's lacrosse club compiled a record of 5-0-1 playing a mixture of varsity and club teams. The teams season officially opens with a game against Guilford on March 23.
