Abstract:

Critical analysis of two important historic and tributary Pre-Columbian codices: the first one is the Codice Humboldt a tax record of all the tribute paid to the Aztec empire by the subject province of the kingdom of Tlapa-Tlachinollan between 1502 y 1521 and a second historic codice Azoyu, tells the history of kingdom of Tlapa-Tlachinollan, its governors and events from 1300 to 1565 when it became a the tributary province of the Aztec (Mexica) Empire. This bilingual edition comes with a 25-foot color pullout facsimile of both codices.
