The Marcia Brown Research Room is open 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, except State Holidays

The M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collections and Archives is located on the third floor of the Science Library on the Uptown Campus of the University at Albany, 1400 Washington Avenue, Albany, New York. The Science Library is located on the south side of the academic podium between the Campus Center and the athletic fields. A parking lot for visitors is available from University Drive East in Indian Quad (Parking Lot 2). Visitor parking is $5 to enter the lots before 4 p.m. and $3 after.
Take the Bus
Both UAlbany Buses and CDTA Bus Route 11 stop right outside the Science Library.
Driving Directions
From the north: Take I-87 (Northway) south to Exit 1E. Off the exit proceed to I-90 east (Albany/Boston). Take Exit 2 (Washington Avenue) which leads to the University.
From the south: Take I-87 (Thruway) north to Exit 24. After the toll booths, proceed onto I-90 east towards Boston. Take Exit 2 (Washington Avenue), which leads to the University.
From the east: Take I-90 west toward Buffalo. Get off at Exit 2 (Fuller Road). Turn left at Fuller Road and take the next left at Washington Avenue, which leads to the University.
From the west: Take I-90 (Thruway) east to Exit 24. After the toll booths, proceed onto I-90 east toward Boston. Get off at Exit 2 (Washington Avenue), which leads to the University.
