The Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc. is an environmental organization that advocates for the protection of the Hudson River and its ecosystems. Offshoot organizations called sloop clubs help Clearwater, Inc. raise awareness of its mission up and down the Hudson River. Members like the ones in Albany (the North River Friends of Clearwater) hold monthly meetings to keep up with ways they can help the parent organization. (Color slide)
