An overwhelming majority ? 96 percent ? of the providers voted in favor of joining CSEA. This brings the total of unionized childcare providers represented by CSEA in New York to 25,000, the other 8,000 belonging to Voice of Independent Childcare Educators (VOICE/CSEA). CCPT-NY now has the right to negotiate with the state.
