Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA)'s "Peanut Man" also known as Ken Koopman, was one of more than 20,000 union members attending a January 5 rally over stalled contract talks. CSEA used peanuts as a reference to Gov. George Pataki's wage offer of zero percent per year over a four-year contract.
