Records of non-profit citizens' organization committed to reducing hazardous chemical pesticides use through education and advocacy.

This series is divided up into eight subseries that document various prominent issues addressed by NYCAP in its work, particularly that used in its information clearinghouse and in programs it conducted. Subseries 4: Activist Organizations and Coalitions is a collection of materials from groups involved in promoting pesticide alternatives like NYCAP, or with other environmental issues generally. The series includes articles, correspondence, reports, pamphlets, and notes. The majority of the material was not produced by NYCAP, although it generally either part of a campaign they were working on, or information they distributed.

Documented in this subseries are the effects of pesticides and other chemicals on human health. Issues and groups featured prominently include Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and the Maternal Infant Network, as well as cancer, and women's and children's health.

The Norman Studer Papers document his career as both an educator and ardent Catskill folklorist. The collection includes significant material relating to his work as director of the Downtown Community School in New York City and Camp Woodland in the Catskills.

This series contains audio recordings of special events and everyday activities at the Downtown Community School and Camp Woodland. The Department digitized hundreds of reel-to-reel audio recordings to date.

The Downtown Community School audio recordings document guest speakers, student discussions and readings, school plays, intergroup conferences, lectures, staff meetings, musical performances, school trips, oral histories and other programs. Highlights of the subseries include recordings about race relations and the boycott that took place at the Lincoln School in Englewood, NJ in February 1963 and a visit to the school from Red Thunder Cloud, last Indigenous speaker of the Catawba language. Not all recordings are identified or dated.

Contains student transcripts and the official schedule of classes and academic calendar.

Includes the records of the Office of the Provost which oversees the academic mission of the University. Materials in this collection address all aspects of academic policy at the University: program planning and review, faculty policies and salary practices, grading policies, long-range planning, and budgeting.

The Oskar Maria Graf Papers consist primarily of photocopies of Graf's works. This includes correspondence; writing; newspaper clippings about Graf; exhibitions about Graf; numerous photographs of Graf, his family and acquaintances; and subject files.

The Paul Leser Papers document not only the life and career of anthropologist Paul Leser, but also contain materials pertaining to Leser's sister, Maria Lingemann and her husband Heinrich Lingemann, and earlier members of the Leser family. Although the collection contains correspondence between Paul and his brother, Albert (Leser) Lestoque, a separate collection, the Albert (Leser) Lestoque Papers, held at the University at Albany's Department of Special Collections & Archives documents the life and career of Paul Leser's brother as well as providing additional Leser family documents and material.

This series is divided into three sections: documents pertaining directly to Paul Leser, documents pertaining to other family members, and newspaper clippings primarily about Paul Leser. Included in this series are materials pertaining to the Leser family residence, located in the Plittersdorf section of Bonn, Germany, and include documentation of the estate, details of the original land purchase, wartime confiscation by the Nazis, later restitution claims, and final sale of the property in 1972.

The Roger T. Conant Papers document his friendship with fellow University at Albany graduate student Vicki Gekas.

The Socialist Party of the United States of America Dover, New Hampshire Local Records contain records that document the range of activities of the Local. Records include correspondence that highlight the contacts of the local and its place within the broader Socialist Party movement in the United States.

This collection contains materials from the Milne School related to administrative activities from faculty and staff, as well as records pertaining to student activities from various clubs and publications.

Prior to 1941, the "Crimson and White" had multiple forms. The June editions acted at the school yearbook, while other editions served as newsletters, literary periodicals, or other pamphlets. The "Bricks and Ivy" yearbooks began continually publishing in 1939 and after that in 1941, the "Crimson and White" became a newspaper, published until 1972.

Materials include three separate student publications titled "The Echo," "The State College Quarterly," and the "State College Echo."

Collection is made up of the student publications The Echo, the State College Quarterly, and the State College Echo.
