Series 5, Troy Government, is similar to Series 3 in that the documents provide a chronological account of the LWVRC's involvement in the affairs of Troy's government. The series contains material about the Troy City Charter as the LWVRC has been involved in the oversight and development of Troy's charter since the 1950s. In more recent times, the League has been involved in charter campaigns and revisions, examining the role of the mayor and developing questionnaires about how to improve the city's charter.

Collection consists of donations from the Class of 1956, inlcuding reunion information, programs, pamphlets, graduation attire, and an obituary to a past student.

This series documents the transition of Ironweed from the 1983 award-winning novel to film in 1987. Like the book, the movie focuses on the character of Francis Phelan and his return to Albany during the Depression. William Kennedy wrote the script for the film which was directed by Hector Babenco and starred Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep. It was filmed on location in Albany and the surrounding areas. The materials include many draft and edited scripts, publicity materials, information about casting and locations, call sheets, correspondence, reviews, and two paperback copies of the novel with notes used for script writing. Note the overall dates for the series are not inclusive.

The Publications series consists of The Boulé Journal which is a quarterly publication compiled by Sigma Pi Phi's Grand Boulé. It is the fraternity's official publication and subordinate Boulés' submit items for consideration. This series contains almost a complete collection of issues published since Winter 1983/1984.
