The State Death Penalty Summaries contains state by state research on the Death Penalty in each state.
The bulk of these papers are reports related to statistical analysis of the Nebraska death penalty system in 2001. Further documents include articles related to the law of the death penalty, and professional correspondence between Baldus and his colleagues. The series also includes a report to the state supreme court by Baldus and his colleagues entitled, "The Disposition of Nebraska Capital and Non-Capital Homicide Cases."
The Maryland Research series contains reports, data sets and correspondence focused around Race of Victim and Race of Defendant Disparities in The Administration of Maryland's Capital Charging and Sentencing System.
The Military Study revealed disparities depending on whether the victim in the underlying crime was also a member of the military or was a civilian.
Research Assistants switched from working on the military study to focusing on California in July of 2007, yet Baldus had been planning on the study for some time.
