These documents highlight people and places from the Coalition's history that were not prisoners or sources of funding. Many of the files document abolition involvement from European branches of Amnesty International, especially Scandinavian countries. More photographs can be found in this series, including benefits held with celebrities Mike Farrell and William Styron, plus photos of the Campaign for Compassion. There are also studies and articles written on death penalty-related issues.

This series documents Leigh Bienen's work as a legal scholar of the death penalty and her teaching career at Princeton University and Northwestern University. Included are records from her scholarly research on capital punishment consisting of questionnaires, case summaries, and procedural wirings. This includes the New Jersey Public Defender Homicide Study. The series also contains Bienen's publications on the death penalty, conference materials, syllabi and teaching material, and reports, legislation, and publications used directly in her research.

This series contains legal material, correspondence, notes, research files, and correspondence related to the trials of Nollie Lee Martin.

This series is made up of legal material and correspondence for cases on which Michael Mello may have had some connection; as counsel, informal advisor, or cases for which he was hired to write Amicus Curiae. Some of the more prominent cases represented in this series include Rolando Cruz, Alvin Ford, Joseph M. Giarratano, and Michael Lambrix.

Publications include newsletters, magazines, and studies that Virginians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty use to support ongoing efforts to abolish capital punishment. Flyers and pamphlets are also included in this series.

This small series comprises about half a dozen buttons with anti-death penalty slogans, several window stickers with the SCJP hummingbird logo, and a pin that says "Author". Joe Ingle wore the author pin during promotional events for his book Last Rights. This series also includes a large banner used in the Campaign for Compassion.

This series contains a diverse collection of material regarding Bedau's participation in many advocacy organizations opposing capital punishment. These organizations include: the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP), Massachusetts Citizens Against the Death Penalty (MCADP), Amnesty International, American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and the Legal Defense Fund (LDF). Since Bedau was on the Board of many of these organizations, the folders contain the minutes of meetings, projects, events, and conferences.

The subject files series contains correspondence, verdict sheets, publications, annual reports, and research on capital punishment.

This series features files from the "Journey of Hope" traveling marches and rallies during the early to mid-1990s. The files include administrative notes, programing notes, and some video, as well as fliers and correspondence from each event.

This series consists of material generated in connection with the Correctional Association's statutory responsibility for inspecting jails, prisons, and adolescent detention facilities in New York State. Documents in this series were created by the Association's General Secretary, Institutions Visiting Committee, and other personnel and include correspondence, prison visit reports, prison tour requests, memoranda, affidavits, and other court records. Also included are records concerning Correctional Association President Adam McQuillan's 1977 visit to the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility. The only document from circa 1915 is a pamphlet describing a traveling exhibition concerning the New York State prison system.
