This series contains typescripts of Furth's numerous lectures and speeches, as well as typescripts of essays written for publication and reviews of works of other economists. Many of the speech texts are revised versions of position papers presented to the Federal Reserve Board. Whenever present in the collection, correspondence related to the lecture is included in the folder, as well as official clearances from the Board.
The general correspondence files are arranged in four sub-categories: Fried's correspondence with former Nuremberg judges (17 file folders), general correspondence with individuals (201 file folders), correspondence with publishers (40 file folders), and correspondence with organizations (61 file folders).
