This series consists of administrative, social, and historical documents of the Business and Professional Women's Club of New York State's District IV between 1936 and 2005. The District IV map is comprised of the following counties of New York State: Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington. Members of the Business and Professional Women's Club of Schenectady were active in the club at the district level and were elected to upper administration positions. Materials included are bound programs, bulletins, handbills, handbooks, leaflets, pamphlets, photographs, newspaper clippings, and manuals. Documents detailing membership, seminars and programs, meetings, finance, administration, club histories, and meeting minutes are included in the series. Some folders holding conference or convention documents may include memorabilia.

Subject Files, 1964-2011 1.22 cubic ft.

The Subject Files are an artificial compilation of CSEA's many organizational activities and include information and correspondences of presidents Ted Wenzl, Joe McDermott, and Danny Donohue, as well as a file kept by the CSEA on Governor Mario Cuomo. The folder of material that includes three signed cartoons by Hy Rosen, a bumper sticker, and flyers all related to President Wenzl, were donated by his son Thurman Wenzl.

Hannah Applebaum was the GSPA librarian for several years, and this series contains her records. This series consists of the H. Applebaum's files, 1963-1971, and contains course descriptions and reading lists, and a copy of the report of the Search Committee for a Political Science Chairman (1966). The remaining files contain copies of official memos and faculty meeting minutes. The GSPA file contains additional course schedules, memos and copies of The Dean's Report to the Board of Trustees on the First Year (1963), and the Visiting Committee's Report on the Local Government Center (1968).

This series contains documents related to the Center for the Study of Aging opened by Raymond and Sara Harris. Sara Harris, who was the executive director of the center, was active in the senior community in Albany, N.Y. Located on Madison Avenue, the Center for the Study of Aging provided programs, lectures, and a community space for the senior community. Included in the series are documents related to the founding of the center, program events, correspondence related to the center, information about its non-profit status, and articles and news clips related to the events that the center hosted. The series also includes published books written by Sara Harris and other members of the gerontology community, as well as publications relating to the center's findings and activities.
