Three statewide plenaries (Fall, Winter, and Spring) are held annually at variously appointed SUNY campuses. The Plenaries sub-series relates to the plenary events that SUNY Albany hosted (Winter 2008 and Winter 2014). Additionally also included the reports UAlbany reported statewide at Plenaries in 2009 and 2011.

Miscellaneous subject files maintained by the University Senate primarily relating to committees and task forces such as those on the environment, firearms, government, students ratings of faculty, as well as general correspondence files.

Included in this series are also reviews or reactions to articles written by Paetel.

Included in this series are full-length manuscripts of plays by Paul Amann, novels by Michael Wurmbrand and Frederic McLean, uncorrected proofs of novels by Lion Feuchtwanger, Heinrich Hauser, and Gnther Weisenborn, and a monograph by Mario Domandi. Also included are numerous shorter manuscripts on subjects ranging including youth topics (Jugendbewegung), resistance (Widerstand), and post-war Germany.

In the event that a new University President needs to be selected, the Unviersity Council is responsible for creating a Presidential Search Committee and submitting its recommendations to the Chancellor and Trustees of the State University of New York. The University Senate is charged with nominating and electing six full-time faculty memebers to serve as representatives and speak for a broad spectrum of faculty opinion.

UUP is affiliated with New York State United Teachers, the American Federation of Teachers, and the AFL-CIO. UUP's President has at times been a vice president of the AFT and served on its Executive Council, as well as on the Board of Directors of NYSUT. In addition, UUP sends representatives to the annual NYSUT Representative Assembly, the biennial AFT convention, and the biennial New York State AFL-CIO convention. Only a few officers attend the AFL-CIO conventions, while a substantial number of delegates are elected to attend the RAs and AFT conventions as representatives of UUP.

Among the conferences represented are ten of the International Conferences of Social Work/Welfare, 1936-1974, as well as the Conference on the Law of the Poor, held in Berkeley, CA, 17-19 February 1966 (18 folders; primarily texts of lectures).
