The Annual Reports of the State University Construction Fund generally include a summary of significant accomplishments and projects, major awards won by the individual SUNY campuses for design and construction, highlights from individual campuses including illustrations, and financial statements. The financial statements are arranged by campus or project and include the contract holder, estimated cost, and cost paid annually. These tables are available for planning and design agreements, construction underway, and construction completed. This series also includes the Campus Plan (1966), an architectural article summarizing the State University construction endeavor, and Architectural Accessibility for the Disabled of College Campuses a publication of the State University Construction Fund.

This series contains a number of files documenting the activities of the Office of Institutional Research. This includes university profiles, and prepared presentations and reports on a number of different topics including staff salaries, staff workload analyses, enrollment projections, degree awarding trends, five year plans, student outcome assessments and the Student Information Retrieval System (SIRS) implemented in the 1980s. This series also includes departmental correspondence interspersed throughout.

This series consists of annual report of the dean (1962-64, 1967-79), department annual reports (1978-79, 1979-80) and center, institute and program reports (1979-80).

This series contains papers that were written by Joe Norton, including early research, published and unpublished materials, book reviews, and materials relating to research that led to written work.

This series contains material collected by Professor Rosenthal during the course of his research. It contains an extensive collection of transcriptions of Rosenthal's interviews with various Capital District gay and lesbian activists. Interview subjects include Albany Common Council member Keith St. John (the first openly gay African-American to be elected to public office in the United States), Father Ron Gerber of the Albany Damien Center, activist Libby Post, and numerous other individuals involved in the movement for gay and lesbian rights. They discuss matters such as the history of the GLBT community in the Capital District, its role in Albany municipal politics and New York State politics, and the impact of AIDS on the community. These transcriptions are arranged chronologically; an alphabetical index which cross-references names with dates is available in Box 1, Folder 1. The series also includes a file of publications on the AIDS crisis, including reports by the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute (NYSDOHAI), other New York State agencies, and a number of federal agencies and private nonprofits.

This series includes information on the case of the Reverends Dan and Francis Potter. Dan and Francis Potter owned several buildings in downtown Albany, most of which were found on Clinton St. This series tracks the history of the Potters' ownership throughout the 1970s. It contains the inspection reports for the buildings and the correspondence between the Potters and the agency performing the inspections concerning the repair history of these buildings. One also finds correspondence between the UTA and members of the United Church of Christ, the agendas and call to meetings held by the UTA for the benefit of the tenants, and the clippings and press releases that track the Potter case to their sale of these buildings.

This series includes extensive correspondence, e-mail, press releases, position papers, notes, and other documents related to CAN's campaign against the widening of Route 9 and 20. Much of the correspondence is outgoing and addressed to political leaders, including Governor George Pataki, Lt. Governor Mary Donahue, State Senator Joseph Bruno and his staff, and East Greenbush Town Supervisor Bob Angelini. There is also some correspondence with highway engineers from whom Casatelli sought support for a redesign of NYS-DOT's plan for Route 9 and 20. Several folders contain printed copies of e-mail. Most of these e-mails do not contain full headers with date and recipient information. In many cases it is impossible to determine when or to whom individual e-mails were sent. At the end of the series are several oversized items, including posters and a map reflecting community ideas for the redesign of Route 9 and 20.

This series includes photocopies of newspaper clippings which detail the activities of CD-CAAR when the group organized a demonstration to protest a rugby game between the Springboks, the South African national rugby team, and the American all-star rugby team scheduled for September 22, 1981.

This series consists of nine typescript essays (two of which are fragments) concerning Soviet propaganda initiatives, American efforts to counter it, the influence of public opinion on American foreign policy, and notes on related topics. One of these essays appeared in published form in Psychological Warfare, a pamphlet published by the Foreign Policy Association in 1951. Other essays in this series may also have been published. Also included in this series are notes that Padover wrote while working on these essays. Almost all of the materials in this series were written in the late 1940s and early 1950s, but the last essay in the series may have been revised in 1964, 1970, and 1972. As a result, it has been dated circa1970.

This series contains drafts and reprints of the works of Hugo Bedau. They are organized first by format and then alphabetically by title. Formats include journal articles, newspaper articles, pamphlets, book chapters, lectures, and encyclopedia articles. Also included are materials related to various conferences Bedau attended.
