The Administration subseries includes documents regarding the Alliance Education, Advocacy and Social Center, Syracuse, budget information on SHC and other MHANYS programs, a survey of self-help and mutual aid groups, and consultant information, and a job description for the director of Mental Self Help Clearinghouse.
This sub-series contains transcripts of Round Table meetings of the Washington Center of Foreign Policy Research from September 1957 until September 1958. Participants include Arnold Wolfers, Roger Hilsman, James E. King Jr., Paul H. Nitze, William Lee Miller, Hans Speier, Erich Hula, Herbert S. Dinerstein, Charles Burton Marshall, William Welch, Klaus Mehnert, Hans Morgenthau and Robert C. Good. Also included in this section are typescripts of lectures delivered by Hula, Wolfers, and Miller and a limited amount of correspondence between Hula, Wolfers and Miller.
The Contracts subseries includes correspondence between the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and MHANYS regarding a contract for establishing the SHC; a request for proposal from OMH regarding Self Help Programs and the resulting MHANYS proposal to operate SHC; and correspondence regarding evaluation by MHANYS of local SHC programs.
This series contains Central Council minutes, agendas, constitutions, and other student government files. In addition, there is student services correspondence, housing, tuition, and other academic information. These records form a solid representation of the information that students received or created about themselves over the course of their education at the State University of New York at Albany.
