Cuomo Hails Student Efforts To Relieve Famine

Governor Mario Cuomo signs a proclamation declaring February "African Famine Relief Month." The proclamation, signed in conjunction with the group Students Opposing Poverty (STOP), is the launching of a statewide effort to help the thirty-five million people in danger, of starvation, in at least eighteen African countries.
