The New York State Legislature Introduces S.1417, Which Would Allow EOP Students 5 Years of Eligibility

Introduced by Senators Giuffreda, Goodman, and Carcia, the bill would permit students in the Educational Opportunity Program to receive tuition assistance for a full 5 academic years, allowing them to remain in school for an extra year if deemed necessary without having to worry about their scholar incentive payments.
