A view of the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. The Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace complex within the Inner City of Beijing. It contains hundreds of buidings, the principal ones of which served as the imperial palaces of the emperors of China. There are crop marks on all sides of the photograph. The photograph was taken during a trip to China by a delegation from the State University of New York at Albany seeking to establish relationships with Chinese institutions.
