Scope and content:

This series covers detailed files previously maintained by the University at Albany Athletics Department related to men's and women's sports that include schedules, game scores and results, statistics, correspondence, records, articles, rosters, tournament information, itineraries, individual game files, game programs, reports, budget information, memoranda, scorebooks, sports guides, and news. Specific files may encompass the records of a team's whole season, part of a season, an individual gameday, or be player-specific. Early records in the series were retained by the Director of Athletics Alfred Werner, and Coordinator/Associate Director/Director Joe Garcia. Later records were retained by Sports Information Director Brian DePasquale. In some instances, personally identifiable information and/or sensitive material was redacted to protect the security of individuals mentioned.

This series is divided into 17 sub-series arranged alphabetically. Each sub-series is arranged chronologically.
