This series is arranged chronologically.

From its formation in 1966 in Albany, New York, the Society of Bibliophiles aimed to encourage and foster a love of books along with an appreciation for the art of bookmaking. The Society of Bibliophiles arranged trips to various lectures and exhibits both within and outside of the Albany area, and arranged meetings and events at which books were the central focus. The collection consists of records produced between 1966 and 2002, and includes newsletters and announcements, organizational documents, materials from various sites visited and events, information about booksellers and bookbinders, as well as a number of other general administrative documents.

The Hunger Action Network of New York State was founded at the Food, Famine and Federalism conference on May 20th, 1982. The statewide membership organization is comprised of direct food providers, advocates, and others with the same goal of ending hunger and poverty in New York State. Today, HANNYS has more than 200 member organizations fighting in unison. The organization holds offices in New York City and Albany, New York.

This series contains founding materials, research statistics, meeting notes and event reports, legislative proposals and financial and budgeting materials.

This collection documents the founding and day-to-day activities of BirthNet, a birth justice organization located in the Capital District of New York.

This series contains records relating to the administration and activities of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Meeting minutes, membership and initiation lists, constitutions and by-laws, and other materials document the sorority's functioning from shortly after its founding, in 1899, to 1978. There are no minutes for 1903-1923, 1933-1934, 1941-1950, or 1975-1980. This series also includes sorority traditions, publicity materials, and some materials relating to alumnae.

The Kappa Delta Sorority Records contain documents related to the formation, activities and alumnae of the Kappa Delta Sorority at the University at Albany.

This series contains administrative and subject files for the Phi Delta Sorority. It includes such materials as constitutions, initiation ceremonies and traditions, membership lists, newsletters, financial records and more, documenting the sorority's activities throughout its history. There are also similar materials relating to Phi Delta alumnae.

The Phi Delta Sorority Records contain documents related to the history, activities and alumnae of the Phi Delta Sorority at the University at Albany.

This series documents the establishment, administration, and maintenance of the Women's Building. This includes meeting notes and minutes, formal reports, correspondence, accounting and financial records, documentation of programming and fundraising activities, tax records, original promotional materials and grant applications.

The Women's Building collection records the formation and day-to-day administrative and programming activities of the Women's Building and its predecessor, the Tri-City Women's Center. The organization provided a safe space for community groups to meet and organize, and informational and educational programming to support the women of the Capital District. Inspired by a feminist perspective and driven by a commitment to social justice, the Women's Building provided physical meeting and office space to local organizations and programming and informational services on financial planning, legal issues, parenthood, childbirth, and women's health. The collection includes administrative records and programming material from the organization's inception in the early 1970s until 2000.

Series 1, Administrative Files, includes official documentation of the boards including meeting minutes, agendas, treasurer reports, and correspondence. It contains the board meeting minutes and agendas from 1961 to 2000, but with several gaps in time. The series also contains information about the LWVRC's annual meetings (1966-1999), membership (1942-1998), by-laws and policy, and tax returns (1967-1985), again with several gaps in time.

The League of Women Voters of Rensselaer County Records documents the political and social activities of the chapter since its founding in 1939.

The Administrative Files series contains annual reports and meeting minutes of the League of Women Voters of Schenectady County. The collection also contains budget, public relations, social events, and state board announcements.

This collection contains records of the League of Women Voters, Schenectady County.

The bulk of the series is the Citizens Budget Commission's (CBC) minutes from 1932 through 1973. These include minutes from the executive sessions of the board of trustees, adjourned meetings of the board of trustees and the nominating committee, and the minutes of the annual meetings of members of the CBC. In 1978, the biographies of the trustees of CBC were compiled and photographs of many of these individuals are included. The series is arranged by topic with the minutes in chronological order.

The Citizens Budget Commission contain information on the financial outlook of New York City from the 1930's to the 1990's.

The Administrative Files series consists of organizational records which document the activities of the board. These records include annual reports (1940-2001), monthly meeting minutes (1941-2001), and president's correspondence (1963-2001, not inclusive). Agendas and treasurer reports are often interfiled with the meeting minutes. This series also includes the by-laws that govern the LWVAC along with changes to those by-laws. Lists of the board of directors and the members of the organization over the years can be found in this series as well. Material regarding campaigns for membership and finance drives for various years are also included. There are also minutes from meetings of the Inter-League Organization (ILO) which consisted of the Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenactady, and Shenendahowa Leagues of New York State (1975-1986).

The records of the League of Women Voters of Albany County (LWVAC), include material produced by the LWVAC as well as material that was produced by the League of Women Voters of New York State and the League of Women Voters of the United States. The most comprehensive series in the collection is the Administrative Files. There are meeting minutes, annual reports, and Board of Directors lists from 1940-2001. A large portion of the LWVAC collection relates to the two main purposes of the organization: voter service and "study and action." Records relating to voter service include pamphlets with information about candidates and citizen voting rights published by the LWVAC and material used to increase voter participation. Records related to "study and action" include material used by the LWVAC to inform citizens about public policy issues locally, statewide, and nationally. A strength of the LWVAC collection is the amount of material related to various public policy issues and how they affected the local community.
