The Legislative Relations records relate to efforts of MHANYS to influence the New York State Legislature on issues related to mental health. These records include correspondence, news clippings, newsletters and other publications related to toxic chemicals and pollution in New York State. Lobbying and outreach records document CEC efforts to pressure the New York State Department of Health to investigate the health effects of toxic pollution and to pressure the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation to clean up toxic waste and prosecute polluters.
