This series consists mainly of letters and postcards. Also included are some war department press releases, newspaper clippings and photographs of former students of the New York State College for Teachers at Albany who were serving in the armed services. The papers also contain a card index listing the names and service addresses of all former State College students serving in the armed services from 1941 to 1945. Though for the most part the files contain correspondence relating to the activities of fellow students, they also include observations about fellow servicemen from the greater Albany area and about the social conditions where the correspondents were stationed. There are few observations about combat conditions.

This collection contains administrative correspondence and memoranda, policy manuals, planning documentation, salary schedules and rosters (1948-1969), budget files, employee benefits documentation, and other records related to personnel and human resources. Most of the paper records in the collection were created by the Office of Personnel Administration, although there are also relevant subject files that were moved to this collection from the collections of other offices at an unknown point in time.

Contains records from José E. Cruz, director of CELAC and Associate Professor of Political Science. This includes course materials, CELAC advocady and program materials, and information on American legislation concerning the Latinx commuunity.

This series contains board meeting notes, research documents, nomination materials and news clippings.

This series consists of issues of the university publication Campus Courier.

This series is made up of materials from the first incarnation of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), before its split into the College of Fine Arts and Humanities, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and College of Science and Mathematics. During the period covered by this series, the functions of those colleges were administered by Divisions along similar organizational lines. This series contains some materials that both predate the organization of CAS as well as other materials from after it was subdivided. The bulk of the materials however focus on the college's administration and the various committees that the College of Arts and Sciences Deans L. Gray Cowan and Charles Colman served on during the 1960s and 1970s.

This series consists of both bound volumes (1927-1954) and folders (1963-1992) that each contain syllabi, assignment sheets, handouts, examinations, and other class material related to the courses taught by the Department of Information Studies and its various incarnations.
