The Administrative series consists of Board and business meeting minutes, constitutions, proposed changes to the constitution, annual and executive meeting files, files of some Club Presidents, and rules and regulations.
Series two contains one hundred years' worth of financial information pertaining to the WCA. A majority of the series consists of various departments and committees expenses, receipts, and annual reports. These were originally kept in envelopes according to department or committee and year. There are also Office and Treasurer Reports spanning from 1912 to 2009, providing information about the WCAs treasury and daily spending. Please note that there are no reports from the early 1930s, 1940s or late 1950s. Financial statements provide an inside look into the WCAs evolutionary financial health.
This series contains the annual reports of different departments and committees. The reports give news about each department or committee from the year, and their respective future plans. Most reports are typed, but some of the original handwritten reports sent to the Board secretary are included as well. In addition, there are meeting minutes from select committees.
This series consists of audits, budgets, by-laws, expense reports, meeting minutes, anniversary proclamations, and files of the president, secretary, and treasurer. Membership lists, rosters, and directories are also included in the series.
This series consists of materials detailing the events and the educational programs held by the organization. Materials included are bound programs, handbills, leaflets, pamphlets, photographs, and manuals. Various folders hold documents related to the series during a single year or a span of years, while other folders hold specific events or programs held during consecutive years. Some events or programs were held in succession for many years by the organization, such as the Woman of the Year Award, Young Careerist Award, the Annual Fashion Show, the Legislative Platform Program, and the Issues Management Program. A unique fundraising program entitled "Save the Satchel" during 1999-2000 raised money to support the conservation of Susan B. Anthony's alligator satchel. The Business and Professional Women's Club of Schenectady also collaborated with other clubs to hold events such as the 2001 Business and Professional Women's Club of Schenectady and Kiwanis Art Show. Annual conferences and anniversary celebrations are also included in the series.
The Subject Files series contains newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, other Business and Professional Women's Club newsletters, publicity scrapbooks and public relations documents, awards and certificates, club dinner invitations from the 1970s, club poems, a 2001 club calendar, and membership records.
In addition to containing the 1942 Charter for the Beta Eta Chapter, this series also includes documents for governance, financial information and meeting minutes. There are files about the Dr. Edward Cooper scholarship, newsletters and general correspondence as well as materials from social functions, such as an initiation sign-in book and initiation programs.
This series consists of eight scrapbooks, covering select years from 1953 to 1983, the late 1970s and early 1980s most strongly represented. Therefore the overall dates are not inclusive. Most scrapbooks contain photographs, though some include mixed materials and paper ephemera.

The collection consists of materials relating directly to the operations of the Environmental Decisions Commission including meeting minutes, agendas, correspondence, reports and memoranda. Issues considered included the dredging and stocking of the campus pond, traffic control, parking, the use of road salt and pesticides, recycling of paper, composting, and energy conservation.

The News Clippings and Press Releases series is arranged chronologically.
This series includes correspondence, general administrative files, reports from the director to the Executive Board, General Board minutes, memoranda and agendas, executive board agendas, budgets, news releases and clippings on specific topics such as political action committees (PACs) (1980-86), election reform (1977-83), civil service reform (1978-80), and the Sunset Law (1976-78). The series also includes correspondence with the national Common Cause regarding issues the local chapters should address.
This series includes clippings and background files on topics and issues addressed by Common Cause. Some of the issues included are bottle bill legislation (1978-84), civil service reform (1977-80), PAC regulation (1980-86), campaign financing (1977-83), legislative reform (1977-83), and milk deregulation (1981-83). Also included are reports and studies generated to support specific issues.
The series consists mainly of correspondence and meeting minutes of the New York Temporary State Lobbying Commission regarding lobbying regulations and documentation on two court cases involving the commission, the most prominent being "Hobday, et al., v. the New York Temporary State Commission on Regulation of Lobbying." As an early advocate of the creation of the Lobbying Commission, NYSCC was represented on the commission by its director. The series also contains an analysis of New York State government agency logs, NYSCC lobbying registration forms, lobbying reports and studies on the amount of money spent on lobbying by business interests. This series contains information from media events, partnerships such as Citizens for Midwifery and the Coalition for Improving Maternity Services, PR and marketing materials, and related news articles.
This series includes reports from national conferences and conventions regarding women's healthcare, feedback from local workshops at schools and in the community, and marketing materials for public community events.
This series contains records relating to the administration and activities of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Meeting minutes, membership and initiation lists, constitutions and by-laws, and other materials document the sorority's functioning from shortly after its founding, in 1899, to 1978. There are no minutes for 1903-1923, 1933-1934, 1941-1950, or 1975-1980. This series also includes sorority traditions, publicity materials, and some materials relating to alumnae.
This series consists of newsletters mailed out to Kappa Delta alumnae, dated 1973-1974, 1976, and 1979-1985. The newsletters include news from the active chapter, career and life updates from alumni, planning for alumni events, and information about the financial dealings of the Kappa Delta Corporation.
This series includes several years' worth of formal posed portraits and composites of the whole sorority, as well as candids contributed from individuals. There are several complete scrapbooks, both the "official" scrapbooks kept by the sorority historians each year and personal scrapbooks from sorority members. This series also includes several folders containing loose materials initially housed within scrapbooks, such as photographs, programs, invitations and other keepsakes.
This series is comprised of log books, receipts, account books, correspondence and other administrative documents. Two oversize boxes are present in this series that contain pins, a Pullman Company tea towel, a plate with the inscription The Empire State Express, as well as cash books.
