The collection includes material related to Bernard Burton's service in World War II and newspaper articles he wrote in opposition to anti-abortion laws.
Biographical / historical:
Bernard Burton served in the armed forces during World War II and was a journalist and publicist. He worked to repeal California's anti-abortion law during Ronald Reagan's tenure as governor. He wrote for the Daily Worker and other publications.
