Scope and content:

Compositions: Contains hand corrected typescripts and carbon copies of Political Justice as well as typescripts and offprints of several articles and essays.

Book Reviews: Includes book reviews written 1937-1939 during Kirchheimer's exile in Paris and New York, as well as reviews written for the Washington Post and American Political Science Review. These cover a broad range of topics, including the Weimar Republic, German politics since 1933, national socialism, Marxism, the post-war government of Germany, modern French history, French foreign politics, as well as Catholics and Jews in Germany.
