This collection contains 3 cassette tapes of Shientag attorneys and distributors Freedman and Brandt who fought against state movie censorship.
- Biographical / Historical:
Laura Wittern-Keller was born in 1951. Wittern-Keller recieved her PhD. from the University at Albany. Wittern-Keller's research has focused on the first amendment's right to freedom of speech and film censorship. Wittern-Keller is currently a professor in the University at Albany's History Department.

- Laura Wittern-Keller donated materials to the M.E. Grenander Department of Special Collectiosn and Archives in 2015.
