This series consists of the materials the department produced and used before transitioning to the use of digital media. The materials in this series are from the period in which the department was known as Creative Services. Some photographic materials were created by the department while older materials in the series were produced elsewhere and retained by them for the creation of promotional material.

This collection consists of both physical photographic materials and digital photography created by the campus photographer that documents the University at Albany, SUNY.

This sub-series is made up of the photographic materials in the Creative Services series. It consists of contact sheets, negatives and photographic prints. Also includes a largely complete alphabetical series of faculty portraits from the period of 1991-1997.

This collection predominantly contains the Death Penalty Information Center's audio/video resources and clippings files on capital punishment.

This collection documents the Death Row Support Project, a project of the Church of the Brethren, which connects individuals incarcerated on Death Row with pen pals.

The series includes meeting minutes, agendas, financial statements, flyers and correspondence referring to various projects in the Capital District. There are also some DSA subject files. In addition, the series includes issues of The Albany Anvil, the monthly newsletter of the organization. The newsletter was a project of the Social Justice Center that started almost immediately after the group formed in 1981. May 1981 to May 1996, December 1996 and May-June 1987 are available.

The Lawrence S. Wittner Papers document Dr. Wittner's activism in politics and his work with United University Professions, the Albany County Central Federation of Labor, the Solidarity Committee of the Capital District, the Albany Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America, Upper Hudson Peace Action, and various other social justice and peace organizations in the Capital Region.

Contains inactive records of the Department of English, including syllabi and course materials, annual reports, departmental correspondence, department publications, and administrative records.

This series is made up of publications produced by the English Department for students and the public at large. This includes "News About English," a pamphlet containing departmental course listings and advising information (1977-2000) as well as various student literary magazines administered by the English Department at different times, Including Primer and Tangent. Additionally, this series contains a number of external publications produced by people and groups connected to the Department of English. This includes The Little Magazine, a literary magazine produced by the Writing Program at SUNY Albany (1966-1994) and 13th Moon, a feminist literary magazine edited by Judith E. Johnson, a professor of Writing and Women's Studies at the University at Albany, SUNY.

The Department of History Records contains documents related to the Bachelor of Arts degree, a Doctor of Philosophy degree, a Masters of Arts Degree, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Public History. Documents also relate to the changing thematic and geographic focus of various degree tracks.

The departmental website was used for promoting the department's programs to potential students and for news and reference information for current students and faculty.

This collection contains materials relating to the founding and administration of the Women's Studies Program, including course descriptions, meeting records, and ephemera.
